How to Care for Your Garments

Our custom-made garments will last you a lifetime, if you take good care of them.

01

Washing

Please take into consideration that the seams might not be as strong and durable like those of industrially made clothes, so hand washing is preferred. You can use the washing machine if it has a soft cycle with a low spin speed. In this case it’s also better to turn the garment inside out, close all the zippers, and put it in a washing bag.

02

Drying

We strongly discourage putting our garments in the tumble dryer. As hanging them while they’re wet might cause the natural fabrics to stretch and lose shape, it’s best to air dry the garments horizontally. This means laying them out across a drying rack.

03

Spot Cleaning

It’s also well known that washing your garments frequently can shorten their lifespan, so we encourage you to spot clean whenever possible — that means hand washing only the “dirty” area of the garment. As most of our garments are made of natural fabrics, if your clothing has absorbed the odour of your sweat, you can leave it to breathe outside of the closet.

04

First Washes

Since most of our fabrics are of natural fibers, they might colour the water in the first washes. All fabrics have been washed before sewing.

05

Ironing

You can iron the garments without problems, using the correct iron setting for each fabric.

06

Alterations

Please also take into consideration that all garments are made with 2 cm margins so you’re able to alter them in case you needed to make the garments looser.
